Do you love nature and animals and are you attracted by the world of birds of prey?
Don't miss this unique experience in Brianza: 2 hours in contact with barn owls, owls, eagles and many other species whose secrets you can discover.
Alone or accompanied by your family, you will be able to watch theexciting flight of these birds and call them to you to glide over your fist. In short, get ready to become a falconer for a day!
What we will do
We’ll meet in Ornago (MB) at the time chosen when you made your booking.
We’ll welcome you to our centre, a special place set up by Dr Francesca, a vet , where every year a number of endangered animals are rescued, nursed back to health and rehomed.
First of all, we’ll be introduced to this world with an educational session, during which we’ll discover the characteristics of the birds of prey that live here, including barn owls, tawny owls, owls, vultures, buzzards, falcons, kestrels and eagles. We’ll learn their intriguing names (inspired by *The Lord of the Rings*) , as well as the biology and habits of each species.
After that, we’ll move on to a flight demonstration, during which the falconers will have some of the birds take to the air. Then it’ll be our turn to give it a go: once we’ve slipped on the glove, we’ll be able to take part in the flying experience, calling the birds from the falconer’s fist to our own.
Some species, such as the buzzard and the vulture, can be called directly from the trees whilst we walk around the grounds. And watch out – the buzzard might surprise us with a few small but spectacular aerobatic manoeuvres!
The final part of the activity will be dedicated to interacting with nocturnal birds of prey, with the chance to stroke them and get to know them better.
We’ll say our goodbyes at the end of the session, after a two-hour experience.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 4 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult paying the participant fee or accompanying person.
The experience is wheelchair accessible.
Other information
Attention! When booking, it is possible to book for individuals (participants and accompanying persons) or families (family of 3 or 4 members). Specifically, a family of 3 consists of 2 parents and 1 child up to the age of 9, while a family of 4 consists of 2 parents and 2 children up to the age of 9.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 3 participants is reached.
Dogs are not allowed.
There is a refreshment point on site.
There is free parking on site; the meeting point is only about 30 minutes' drive from Milan. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
