Full description
The barn owl Mirtilla, the owl Pancrazio, the buzzard Morgana and many other birds of prey await you for an exclusive falconry experience in Val di Susa.
Together with your family or group of friends, you will be able to admire the flight of birds of prey, learn to call them to the fist and walk with them through the woods of theForesto xerothermal oasis, in the province of Turin.
If you wish, you can also extend the activity with a visit to the didactic farm and meet many animals up close: donkeys, ponies, fallow deer and llamas to make friends with!
What we will do
The appointment is in Foresto di Bussoleno (TO), at the time chosen during the booking process.
Here you will be met by the falconer and his 16 birds of prey, which live in a fantastic biopark in the Susa Valley. You will meet the barn owls Mirtilla and Pandora, the owl Pancrazio, the buzzard Morgana, the vulture Caronte and many other winged creatures with whom you will learn to interact during this experience.
First, the falconer will introduce you to the animals and explain some important biological concepts, such as the difference between diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey. You will be able to hold the birds of prey in your fist, pose for a few photos and ask as many questions as you like.
You will then put on your glove and learn how to call raptors to your fist, becoming the star of the experience! After the recall part and some free flight in the park, it will be time for a walk.
The activity will continue with a walk through the woods of the Foresto xerothermic oasis, a unique natural environment characterised by typical Mediterranean vegetation. During the walk lasting about half an hour, you will be accompanied by the falconer and his birds of prey, which will fly freely among the branches of the trees.
On the way back, if you wish, you can take a guided tour of the educational farm (choose this option when booking). You will get to know the many animals that live there, from the pony Daphne to the fallow deer Nut, and the llamas Arturo and Zoe, as well as donkeys, ferrets, hedgehogs and rabbits. Definitely a cheerful farm!
The activity will last 1 hour and 15 minutes (or 1 hour and 45 minutes for the option with a visit to the farm).
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 2 years. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The part about approaching birds of prey and calling to the glove is also practicable for wheelchair users.

The activity is available all year round, every day, and is aimed at private groups of up to 25 participants.
The fee of 50€ (or 60€ in the case of falconry + farm visit) is valid for 4 people.
When booking, you can choose between two options: "falconry experience" to participate only in the activity with the birds of prey, or "falconry + farm visit" for a more complete experience.
You can also reach the meeting point by public transport. The facility has toilets and a children's play area.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
