Full description
The barn owl Mirtilla, the owl Pancrazio, the buzzard Morgana and many other birds of prey await you for a falconry experience in the Susa Valley.
During the activity, you will learn about the various species of birds of prey, their habits and the many curiosities about this wonderful world: you will be the first person to fly and call them to your fist in the woods of thexerothermal oasis of Foresto, in the province of Turin.
You will also get to know the many animals on the didactic farm, donkeys, ponies, fallow deer and llamas to make friends with!
What we will do
The rendezvous is in Foresto di Bussoleno (TO), at the time chosen when booking.
Here we will be met by the falconer and his 16 birds of prey, which live in a fantastic biopark in the Susa Valley. We will get to know the barn owls Mirtilla and Pandora, the owl Pancrazio, the buzzard Morgana, the vulture Caronte and many other winged creatures with whom we will learn to interact during this experience.
First, the falconer will introduce us to the animals and explain some important biological notions, such as the difference between diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey. We will be able to hold the birds of prey in our fist, pose for a few photos and ask as many questions as we like.
Then we will put on the glove and learn how to call the raptors to our fist, becoming protagonists of this experience!
During the course of the activity, we will have a guided tour of the educational farm to get to know the many animals that live there, from the Daphne pony to the Nut fallow deer, and the Arturo and Zoe llamas, as well as donkeys, ferrets, hedgehogs and rabbits. Definitely a cheerful farm!
The activity will last 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 2 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a participating adult.
The part about approaching birds of prey and glove calling is also practicable for wheelchair users.

The activity is available all year round, every day, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 people.
It is also possible to reach the meeting point by public transport. The facility has toilets and a children's play area.
Dogs are not allowed.
