Get ready to fly on the wings of adventure!
Take part in our falconry experience in the province of Pavia: you will learn about the world of birds of prey, admire them during flight demonstrations, and interact with them by dressing up as a falconer for a day.
The Bananone eagle owl, the Heyoka barn owl and other friendly specimens are waiting for you to spend two hours together in the open air!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Torricella Verzate (PV). We will be welcomed by the falconer who will guide us on this adventure!
The experience will begin with atheoretical introduction to the art of falconry and the world of birds of prey. This will be followed by flight demonstrations led by the falconer, during which we will learn more about the characteristics of the individual species that inhabit the centre: these include Harris's buzzard, ferruginous buzzard, Europeaneagle owl, barn owl, European kestrel, gyrfalcon, peregrine falcon andsteppe eagle.
It will then be time to don the glove and turn into a falconer for a day: with the support of the falconer, we will be able to experience the unique thrill of calling a bird of prey to our fist; the birds of prey selected for this moment are small in size, while we will be able to admire the larger ones during flight demonstrations. And since we will no longer want to take off our falconer's robes, we will be able to make more fist calls and continue theinteraction with the birds of prey!
The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from 2 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult; children up to the age of 5 participate free of charge.
The activity venue is not accessible to persons with mobility problems.

The experience takes place all year round.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Dogs are not allowed on the experience.
