Full description
Try to resist the sweet eyes of an owl. It's impossible!
You will learn about this and many other wild species at our falconry experience near Pavia. A falconer will introduce you to his birds of prey and pass on all his knowledge and passion about their world. Yes, he will even teach you how to call a bird to the fist!
And at the end of this 2-hour experience, you can visit a nature park dedicated to these animals on your own.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Sant'Alessio con Vialone (PV). I will be there to welcome you, falconer who will accompany you on this adventure! I will welcome you with a sweet breakfast of coffee and croissants or iced tea for children.
Once all the participants have gathered, I will seat you in the birds ofprey flight area. It is then that you will get to know them: Harris's harrier, barn owl, eagle owl, buzzard, tawny owl and many other wild species will be the stars of this experience! I will explain the characteristics and behaviour of each bird, teach you communication strategies and learn how to establish a trusting relationship with them.
And yes, of course you will havedirect interaction with some raptors by calling at least one specimen to your fist! For other larger birds of prey, such as thegolden eagle, you will instead attend a flight demonstration.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total. The package includes the entrance ticket for theSant'Alessio Oasis, a natural park dedicated to these fascinating animals that you can visit independently at the end of the activity.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended from 6 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
People with disabilities are welcome: once you have made your booking, please contact the falconer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report your presence and request support. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
The duration of the experience may vary depending on the number of participants.
Participants will pay 5€ on site for the park entrance ticket and insurance (cash or electronic payment). Any accompanying persons will instead pay 18€ (park entrance fee and insurance). Contact the guide after the booking confirmation to inform them of their presence.
It is advisable to wear clothes in colours reminiscent of nature (brown, dark green, grey or black); in the winter period, it is recommended to wear hats or scarves without fur or pom-poms as they may attract birds of prey.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
