Take part in a theoretical and practical lesson in falconry in the province of Turin, watch falcons and other birds of prey as they fly free and try to call them to the fist! Once the experience is over, you can refresh yourself with a fantastic tasting of home-made organic products !

What we will do
The appointment is in Ciriè (TO), 10 minutes before the start time.
The falconer Giovanni will welcome us and introduce us to the birds of prey from his falconry school, some 50 high and low-flying falcons, owls, eagles and Harris's buzzards. We will also meet Arthur, a white-faced African scops owl who is the school's friendly mascot!
The first hour will be devoted to theory, with an introduction to falconry, the various species of animals, their behaviour and training techniques.
After a short coffee break, we will resume the activity with the practical part for another hour. We will witness the free flight of the falcons, watch the falconer at work, and interact with the birds of prey first-hand.
The most exciting moment will be the baptism of the glove, during which we will learn to call Harris's owls and buzzards to the fist. We will socialise with them and pose for the inevitable photos.
And to end the activity on a high note, we will move on to the nearby farm (about 200 metres away) , where we will have a tasting of home-made organic products (included) , such as bread, jam, oil, fruit, vegetables, taralli, saffron biscuits and lavender honey. If we wish, we can also buy the farm's products.
At the end of the experience, before saying goodbye, we will receive a certificate of participation and a gadget as a memento of the day.
The activity will last two and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 7 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
Wheelchair users can carry out the activity privately, agreeing with the falconer on the duration and modalities of the course. Contact us to check the organiser's availability.

The activity can take place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of five people.
The venue can be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.
Dogs are not allowed.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
