Full description

From transformation into a Super Saiyan to becoming a falconer is a moment's notice.

Take part in our experience with birds of prey in Cantalupa: you will learn about fascinating species, deepen your knowledge of the art of falconry, and put on the guise of a "falconer for a day" by letting a bird of prey fly over your fist!

A five-hour experience that will give you the power to fly on the wings of adventure.

What we will do

We’ll meet 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Cantalupa (TO). We’ll be welcomed by the falconer-guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!

From the very first step, we’ll find ourselves surrounded by aviaries home to numerous birds, including Tandem (the falcon) , Zeus (the eagle owl) , Optimus (the Harris’s hawk) and Yoda the barn owl!

It is against this very backdrop that the first part of the experience will take place: a theory session on the world of falconry, with insights ranging from the animals’ biology to the tools used for training. This initial session will last approximately 2 hours. Following the theory session, there will be a break of about one hour, during which we’ll have some free time to enjoy our packed lunch.

And now we’re ready for the second part of the experience: we’ll complete our transformation into ‘falconers for a day’ and interact directly with the birds. We’ll put what we’ve learnt during the theory session into practice, getting a taste of a falconer’s daily routine: we’ll take the bird from its perch, weigh it, prepare it for flight and finally let it fly, calling it back to our fist. This second part will last approximately 2 hours.

The experience will last a total of 5 hours.
