If birds of prey and horses immediately make you think of a fantasy film, it's time to enter a fantasy world by becoming a falconer for a day.
We are waiting for you at our centre in Brianza, a facility surrounded by greenery and home to 56 birds of prey including hawks, owls, eagles, buzzards and barn owls with funny names inspired by Lord of the Rings, but also other animals such as storks, parrots, horses and electric blue hens.
Accompanied by an experienced falconer, you will learn about these fascinating nocturnal animals and how to call them on your fist... while riding a horse!
What we will do
We will meet at our centre in Ornago, Brianza, at the address and time indicated when booking.
Our activity will begin with an initial didactic tour, lasting about half an hour, in which we will visit all the aviaries and animals housed by the facility, to discover their habits and biological characteristics. You will get to know the 56 birds of prey that live here, many of which have been rescued and cared for by us, such as barn owls, tawny owls, vultures, buzzards, falcons, kestrels and eagles.
After this first introductory part, we will move straight into practice: we will put on the falconer's glove and try to call several birds of prey to the fist (such as barn owls, owls and buzzards).
Once familiarised on the ground, we will get on horseback for the most incredible part of this experience. We will take a ride of about 20 minutes on the grounds of our property and experience the thrill of calling birds of prey to the fist while riding, just like a medieval falconer.
At the end of our little horseback ride, those who wish can borrow medieval clothing and take beautiful souvenir photos with the birds of prey.
The activity will last one and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, including beginners, from the age of 8. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying persons who do not wish to participate in the activity can attend by paying the 10 euro fee on site. To notify the organisers of their presence, please contact them via the contact details on the booking confirmation e-mail.
Previous horse riding experience is not required and the maximum weight allowed is 80 kg.
Other information
The activity takes place every day from mid-March to mid-November.
In theevent of wind or conditions unsuitable for birds of prey to fly, the organisers may cancel the activity or propose an alternative date for it to take place.
Saddles for American or English riding are available for the horse riding experience.
The facility is easily reached by car from Milan in about 30 minutes and is located near a bus stop connected to Trezzo sull'Adda. There is a bar inside the centre.
Itis not possible to bring dogs or other animals with you.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
