Full description
Carve out a couple of hours for a river trekking experience that will catapult you away from your usual routine and into a fairytale landscape.
Depending on the time of year and the water flow, you will do the activity on the Lao river or in the Jannello stream, one of its tributaries. Before starting, you will follow an introductory briefing given by your guide, after which it will be time for your water trek along a 1.5 km route.
You will be able to enjoy a beautiful landscape with rich flora and fauna. Not only that, in some sections you will also have the opportunity to dive into the crystal-clear waters of the river or simply let yourself be carried away by the current.
What we will do
We will meet in Laino Borgo (CS ) to take the shuttle that will take us to the starting point of our route. Depending on the water level, the guide will choose whether to walk along the Lao river or its tributary Jannello.
After a shuttle transfer lasting about 10 minutes, we will arrive at our destination. Before donning a helmet and wetsuit, we will follow a 15-minute introductory briefing, in which the guide will give us some information about the activity and how to move around the river.
The 1.5 km long trail will be very easy and suitable for both adults and children. We will take a pleasant walk lulled by the sound of the water flowing over the rocky bed and enjoy the wonderful landscape.
The guide will take us on a discovery of the rich local flora and fauna and point out the best spots to take a dip in the clear pools of water or to simply let ourselves be carried away by the current.
At the end of the approximately 1-hour tour , we will take the shuttle bus back to the initial starting point. In total, the activity will last 2 hours, including briefing and transfers.
Who it is aimed at
River trekking is an activity suitable for everyone from the age of 5. It is sufficient to be in good health and have good water skills.
From the age of 10 and up, children can also participate on their own with a release form signed by a parent, while under this age the presence of an accompanying adult is required.
Other information
The activity is available every day during the months of March to September and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
The location of the river trekking (Lao river or Jannello stream) will be decided by the guide according to the hydrometric conditions, which vary throughout the year.
At the end of the river trekking, all participants can freely use the facility's toilets and showers.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
