Would you like to learn how to speed over the waves on a board, propelled by a kite in the direction of the wind? Then you must try kitesurfing!
Kitesurfing is an all-round water sport that is fun and adrenaline-pumping. It develops agility, strength and coordination and, above all, gives one thrill after another and allows you to experience the sea or lake to the full.
With a trial kitesurfing lesson on Lake Garda held by an expert instructor, you can get closer to the world of kiteboarding, take your first steps with board and kite, and... see if the spark of a new passion ignites!
What we will do
You will meet your instructor at the kitesurfing school in Tignale, in the province of Brescia. The lesson will be held in mini-groups of a maximum of 4 participants, so that everyone can receive adequate assistance.
First, the equipment consisting of wetsuit, harness, helmet, board and kite will be handed over. After that, we will begin with the theory lesson. The instructor will give us an outline of the history, legislation and functioning of kitesurfing, explain the concept of a flight window and teach us how to recognise winds so as to understand where we can or cannot sail. He will then show us how to prepare and adjust our equipment and instruct us on safety systems.
Of fundamental importance for those approaching kitesurfing, even before putting their feet on the board, is learning how to manoeuvre the kite. There will be preparatory exercises in piloting technique and body control.
The last part of the lesson will take place in the water with the help of a support boat. Always closely followed by the instructor, we will start practising body drag and the first steps to mastering the board.
The activity lasts approximately 2 hours. If after the lesson you feel like going further in learning the discipline, you can continue with a basic kitesurfing course.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is dedicated to those who wish to approach the world of kitesurfing. No previous experience is necessary. You can participate from the age of 8 with a weight of at least 35 kg.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
This activity is available from June to October, depending on instructor availability. During the low season, it is only possible to take lessons at weekends.
Kitesurfing is an activity subject to weather and wind conditions. In the event of unsuitable conditions, the activity may be suspended or postponed. You will be notified by the instructor.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
