Discover the traditions of the Apulian sea and fishermen with a day of fishing tourism departing from Savelletri, a coastal village in the municipality of Fasano.
You will board a fishing boat and sail along the coast between Brindisi and Bari together with the crew, who will show you the main fishing techniques and tell you everything you want to know about the fisherman's trade.
You will learn how to use nets, hooks, and bait for afun and interesting experience that will take you deep into the life, culture, and customs of Puglia's fishing villages.
What we will do
The meeting is at 9:00 am at the port of Savelletri. The crew will welcome us and take us aboard the fishing boat already prepared and set up for the fishing trip.
We will sail along the coast between Brindisi and Bari, stopping at the best spots to fish. Throughout the activity we will be able to observe and learn fishing techniques, with the invaluable help of those who have been doing this job for many years. We will witness the operations of positioning, hauling the nets and catching the fish, being amazed by the spoils that the sea will offer us.
The fishing boat tour will also be an opportunity to admire the beauty of the Apulian coastline and to experience the sea from a different perspective that will leave us with beautiful memories. Before saying goodbye, we will enjoy an aperitif with typical products offered by the crew.
In total, the activity will last 5 hours.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
