Tandem paragliding flight at Malcesine on Lake Garda

Make your dream of flying come true with one of the most exciting experiences you can have on Lake Garda: a tandem paragliding flight from Monte Baldo to Malcesine.

Let yourself be carried away by the ascending wind currents and admire a picture-postcard landscape from above as you descend with your paraglider over the shores of the lake.

Flying tandem with a professional pilot, you won't have to think about anything except enjoying the thrill of flight to the fullest. Get ready for take-off!

What we will do

We will meet the pilot in Malcesine, on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda, and together we will ascend Monte Baldo using the panoramic cable car (the ticket is included in the participation fee). The take-off will be from Monte Baldo at 1,760 metres above sea level.

We will prepare for the flight by holding a briefing on how paragliders work and the rules of conduct for flying in comfort and safety. Then we will put on our helmets andharnesses and, firmly attached to the pilot, prepare for take-off.

It will only take a few metres of running from the slope of Monte Baldo to take flight and begin the panoramic descent over Lake Garda. The flight will last about 20 to 30 minutes - varying according to the currents of the day - and will give us a picture postcard landscape that will forever remain etched in our memory.

The flight will end with a soft landing near the initial meeting point.

Between cable car ascent, briefing and flight, the activity will last about 1½ hours in total.

Who it is aimed at

Tandem paragliding is an activity suitable for everyone. Minors must be accompanied by their parents, who must sign a consent form on site.

It does not require any specific preparation or previous experience. All that is required is to be in good health, with a body weight of between 35 and 95 kg and able to make a run of a few metres.

This activity can be booked every day from April to November.

Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the scheduled date, the pilot will confirm the time and course after checking the latest weather report.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport. Located on the lakeshore, any accompanying persons and/or participants can relax at the bar, have a drink or a bite to eat, sunbathe or take a dip in the water and enjoy the beach. In addition, they will be able to film their companion's landing from a different angle for an even more beautiful memory.
