If you want anadrenaline-fuelled experience and to feel as free as a hawk soaring through the sky, you absolutely cannot miss the thrill of a paragliding flight.
Taking off from Castel San Giorgio, in the province of Salerno, you will admire the astonishing nature of theCampania Apennines from above, with Vesuvius on the horizon in all its majesty.
Flying in tandem with an expert pilot, you won't have to worry about anything except enjoying the flight to the full and being pervaded by an incredible mix of sensations. It will be unforgettable!
What we will do
You will meet the pilot at the indicated meeting point in Castel San Giorgio (SA) and together you will go to the take-off area, located on top of a hill that will act as a "springboard" for the paragliding flight.
You will first have a briefing on the principles of paragliding and the rules of behaviour for flying in comfort and safety. After that, having prepared your equipment and securely harnessed your harness, it will be time to take off. It will only take a few steps downhill to take off, not even time to notice and you will find yourself floating in the air!
The sensation will be indescribable and the view marvellous: you will have the Vesuvian plain before you, surrounded by the mountains of theCampanian Apennines and the heights covered by thick green forests. Rising majestically on the horizon will be Vesuvius and, on clear days, your gaze can reach as far as the Bay of Naples.
The flight will last between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on the intensity of the updrafts, which will slow the paraglider's descent to a soft landing. Considering the preparation time, the activity will last about 1.5 hours in total and will end with the return to the meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level. All people in good health, weighing between 30 and 100 kg can participate.

Paragliding can be carried out all year round but is strictly dependent on weather and wind conditions. The course and time of the flight will be confirmed by the pilot the day before, after checking the latest weather report.
