Would you like to feel the wind caressing your face as you fly over the enchanting landscapes of the Lomellina?
Join us at Mezzana Bigli (Pavia ) for a powered hang-gliding adventure. This is an aircraft with all the characteristics of the classic hang-glider, but with the addition of an engine that guarantees the freedom of a small plane!
And if the idea of launching scares you a little, you can rest assured. With the powered hang glider there is no need, because the take-off will be from a flat surface with no special wind conditions.
In tandem with a professional pilot, you will fly over the wonders of Lomellina for about 20 minutes. Once back home, you can even relive the experience thanks to photos and videos of the flight!
What we will do
The meeting with the instructor is in Mezzana Bigli, in the province of Pavia. Before we take off, we will have an introductory briefing lasting about 10 minutes.
The instructor will explain the characteristics of the powered hang -glider and give us a little background on how it works. Unlike traditional hang gliders, which require a certain wind strength and direction in order to take off, the powered hang glider is equipped with a propeller that allows it to lift off independently from a flat surface.
Equipped with helmets and securely harnessed, we sit on board behind the pilot. Then... we take off!
We will fly for 20 minutes over the Lomellina region, dotted with picturesque medieval castles. We will admire, for example, Tortorolo Castle, Valeggio Castle, and Scaldasole Castle. Finally, we will land gently at the starting point.
The activity lasts a total of about 30 minutes, including briefing and actual flight.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone, from 12 years of age and upwards, with a maximum weight of 110 kg.
Other information
Flights take place all year round.
Accompanying persons are welcome to stay at the facility, which has a bar area and a large garden.
If they wish, participants can request photos and videos of the experience free of charge.
The experience is restricted to one person who will fly tandem with the pilot.
The meeting place cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
