Helicopter flight in Milan with piloting experience

Have you ever wanted to get off the ground and rule the sky? Just a step away from the heart of Milan, your dream of being a pilot for a day becomes reality.

Climb aboard the Robinson R22two-seater helicopter together with an instructor and experience 20 minutes of flight flying over the city of Milan and into the green Ticino Park.

And the best part? During the flight you can even take the controls and try out flying for real!

What we will do

The appointment is at the Milan flight base, at least 30 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking: we will need to get to the heart of the experience, understand how the helicopter works and prepare for the most beautiful moment, when the wheels come off the ground.

We will begin with a theoretical briefing of about 30 minutes. It will be an immersion in the world of aerodynamics: you will discover the secrets of the Robinson R22, learn what the main controls are for and how to handle the delicate take-off phase.

From theory to the runway. Climb aboard next to the instructor, fasten your seatbelt and the engines start to come to life. For five minutes you feel the vibrations grow and the blades accelerate. Then it happens: the ground recedes and the flight begins!

For 20 minutes you enjoy a privileged perspective: you fly over the area surrounding Milan, admiring the city skyline and, if the sky is clear, the reflections and greenery of the Ticino Park. But the real magic happens at cruising altitude: after a demonstration phase, the instructor will hand you the controls. You will feel the stick respond to your movements, experiencing the thrill of real piloting, in total safety thanks to the dual controls.

Finally, we will return to base for landing and the engine shutdown phase (about 5 minutes) , followed by a brief final debriefing to share sensations and technical curiosities. Between ignition, flight and shutdown, the activity lasts about 30 minutes.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 7. Minors must be authorised by a parent and accompanied to the airfield.

A maximum weight of 110 kg and a maximum height of 1. 95 m are required to participate.

The helicopter flight is also accessible to people with lower or upper limb disabilities, subject to individual assessment by the organiser; please contact the pilot at the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail.

Other information

The activity is available all year round, from 9 a. m. until sunset.

The flight takes place in a Robinson R22 helicopter with dual controls, carrying 1 pilot and 1 participant. It is possible to participate as a pair in the initial briefing and then take turns in the flight, taking off one after the other.

You are allowed to take photos and videos on board the helicopter.

Any accompanying persons may stay at the airfield and watch the take-off and landing phases from the dedicated areas. There is a bar and toilets on site to wait comfortably during the experience.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport.
