Experience the extraordinary thrill of a paragliding flight, taking off in tandem with an expert instructor, and discover the magic of an activity that offers a unique perspective on the world!
You’ll fly over the Certosa di Padula, the famous monastery in the province of Salerno, which, seen from above, will amaze you with its majestic architecture and surrounding green gardens.
It will be an adrenaline-fuelled experience: you’ll soar, carried by the rising air currents, and savour an immense sense of freedom. Get ready for take-off!
What we will do
The meeting will be near the Certosa di Padula (SA), where we will meet theinstructor and together we will head to a high point that will allow us to have a wide view of the monastery during the flight. We will carry out a briefing on the rules of behaviour to carry out the activity in comfort and safety, and soon we will be ready for take-off.
Firmly harnessed and attached to the instructor, all we have to do is take a little run downhill and, in no time at all, we will take off. It will be an incredible feeling, we will feel lighter and freer than ever and we will only have eyes for the fantastic view.
We will admire from above the splendid Certosa di Padula, the monastery that with its over 50,000 square metres is one of the most sumptuous Baroque complexes in Italy and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The view from above best appreciates the majesty and geometry of the cloisters and courtyard, the care of the surrounding gardens and the total harmony of the structure.
We will take advantage of the ascending wind currents that will allow us to spend 15 to 20 minutes in the air, as we gradually descend in altitude to a soft landing.
The activity lasts a total of about 2 hours, taking into account preparation time, moving to the take-off point and returning to the meeting point. At the end of the experience you will be given a video souvenir of the flight!
Who it is aimed at
This activity is classified as easy and is open to everyone aged 12 and over. No experience is required, and participants must weigh between 40 and 100 kg.
When booking, you can select the ‘pair flight’ option for participants who wish to take a simultaneous flight with a different pilot.

Please note! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the activity.
The activity takes place all year round, with varying frequency depending on the month. From May to October, it is recommended that you book at least 2 days in advance. During the remaining months, we only accept bookings made at least 5 days in advance (except at weekends and on public holidays, for which the booking lead time remains 2 days) .
The paragliding flight is entirely dependent on weather conditions and may be rescheduled or cancelled even at the take-off point, at the instructor’s sole discretion.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
