Full description
Off-piste skiing activities with an expert guide in Madesimo using the ski lifts. Ideal for those who already know how to ski and want to experience the thrill of freeriding. We will choose different downhill lines, focusing on the right skiing technique in fresh snow.
It is a fun and varied activity, precisely because the off-piste descents are always different.
What we will do
Located in Valle Spluga, at an altitude of 1550 m, Madesimo is a strategic starting point for numerous alpine excursions and, thanks to its particular morphology, an ideal place to experience the thrill of freeriding.
We will be in Lecco and then continue to Madesimo by car (it is possible to use the shuttle service at an additional cost of €10) and, once we have checked our equipment and safety devices (shovel, probe, artva), we will ascend by cable car.
Depending on the snow conditions and the technical level of the participants , we will choose the most suitable routes. The activity will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a 30-40 minute lunch break in the middle of the day (refreshment points on the ski slopes will be available).
It is important to beequipped with theappropriate freeride equipment, however it will be possible to rent it on site (15€ to be paid on site).
During the freeride skiing descent, we will also work on improving downhill technique.

This activity is reserved for those with good skiing control and physical fitness.

Important: You must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the time chosen for the activity!
This activity is bookable from December to April.
The safety kit can be hired on site (15€ shovel, probe and artva rental).
Possibility of shuttle service from Lecco, to be requested after booking.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
