Imagine being able to fly in a hot-air balloon over the Chianti region, admiring the splendid panorama from the completely transparent floor. Now imagine being able to enjoy this incredible experience in total privacy with whoever you want, thanks to a private hot-air balloon. Fantastic, isn't it?
With our exclusive flight you will board the first hot-air balloon in Italy with a glass bottom to celebrate a special event in the best possible way. An experienced pilot will guarantee you maximum safety, taking care of all phases of the flight, while you will only have to think about enjoying one of Tuscany's most beautiful landscapes.
What we will do
The appointment is at the take-off area in San Casciano (FI), at first light. Here, we will be welcomed by the pilot, who will direct us to the hot air balloon with a glass bottom for our exclusive use.
We will then board the hot-air balloon via special passages on the side of the basket and, after a briefing on safety regulations, we will finally be ready to take off. The pilot will briefly explain the behaviour to be adopted during the various phases of the flight.
We will reach an altitude of between 300 and 1200 metres, depending on the wind of the day. We will fly over the Chianti region, with its green hills, endless stretches of vineyards, and splendid medieval villages. The pilot will take care of everything, ensuring maximum safety, while we will only have to enjoy the view from the transparent floor beneath our feet.
After about 1 hour of flying, it will be time to land. Wind conditions will determine the landing zone, which is generally on grass. Afterwards, we will find refreshments (included in the fee) prepared by the crew, including pastries, a plate of local cheeses and cold cuts, and a glass of champagne.
After the refreshments, the pilot will take us back to the take-off site. The activity has a total duration of about 3 hours and includes a safety briefing, a one-hour flight and return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
Flying in ahot-air balloon issuitable for everyone, you can fly from 4 years of age upwards and with a minimum height of90 cm. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and people with serious heart problems or restricted mobility in their lower limbs.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
The activity can be booked all year round, weather permitting, and is reserved for private groups of up to 4 participants.
Important: the flight takes place at dawn, to take advantage of the best winds and the most suitable temperatures, but the take-off time may vary depending on the time of year chosen. The day before the scheduled activity, you will receive confirmation of the take-off time and meeting place from the pilot.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
