Full description
Celebrate a special event with your family or friends with aunique adventure in the heart of Florence.
At the crack of dawn, you will board a hot-air balloon reserved only for you, equipped with a glass bottom. You will be able to admire the breathtaking panorama of the Tuscan capital from the transparent floor, in the company of the people closest to you. Guided by an experienced pilot, you will fly in total peace and safety.
At the end of the flight, refreshments of typical products and a glass of champagne will be waiting for you to toast together!
What we will do
The rendezvous is in the Florence take-off area, at first light. We will be welcomed here by the pilot, who will direct us to the hot-air balloon with a glass bottom, for our exclusive use.
We will then board the hot air balloon via special passages on the side of the basket and, after a briefing on safety regulations, we will finally be ready to take off. The pilot will briefly explain the behaviour to be adopted during the various phases of the flight.
We will reach an altitude of between 300 and 1200 metres, depending on the wind of the day. During the flight, we will be able to admire the magnificent city of Florence and the Tuscan countryside from above, enjoying the view from the invisible floor beneath our feet.
After about 1 hour of flight, it will be time to land. Wind conditions will determine the landing zone, generally on grassland near Florence. Afterwards, we will find refreshments waiting for us, prepared by the crew, including delicious pastries, a plate of cheese and local products, and a glass of champagne.
After the refreshments, the pilot will take us back to the take-off site. The activity has a total duration of about 3 hours and includes the flight, safety briefing and return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
Flying in ahot-air balloon issuitable for everyone, you can fly from 4 years of age upwards and with a minimum height of90 cm. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and people with serious heart problems or limited mobility in their lower limbs.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
The activity can be booked all year round, weather permitting, and is reserved for private groups of up to 4 participants.
Important: the flight takes place at dawn, to take advantage of the best winds and the most suitable temperatures, but the take-off time may vary depending on the time of year chosen . The day before the scheduled activity ,you will receive confirmation of the take-off time and meeting placefrom the pilot.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
