Climb aboard a wooden gozzo in Levanto to experience the authentic charm of Ligurian tradition! With an expert local skipper at the helm, you’ll spend half a day sailing along the coast past the villages of the Cinque Terre to Riomaggiore.
During the trip, you’ll get to take a dip in hidden coves and enjoy a delicious aperitif and local wine. Ready to set sail?
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Levanto (SP). The skipper will be there to welcome us and take us on our gozzo boat trip. After a brief initial briefing, we’ll settle in on board to set sail for the Cinque Terre coast.
We’ll sail past all the famous seaside villages along the coast, admiring them from a unique vantage point. During the trip, the captain will share stories and local traditions with us – he knows the area like the back of his hand! Heading south, we’ll reach Riomaggiore before turning back.
During the trip, we’ll stop at one of the area’s most picturesque coves for a refreshing break. We’ll be able to take a dip for a relaxing swim or go snorkelling using the full kit provided on board to explore the seabed.
The cruise will be enhanced by a delicious aperitif served on board. We’ll sample typical local organic and locally sourced produce, including focaccia, savoury tarts, salami, cheeses and Levanto’s famous gattafin, all accompanied by excellent local wine.
We’ll then return to the starting point. The excursion will last a total of approximately 3½ hours .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions; those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children aged 1 year and under participate free of charge.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users and/or people with reduced mobility.

The activity runs from March to October and is confirmed provided there are at least two participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a 10-metre wooden gozzo, equipped with a sun deck, cushions, a shower, a fridge, an awning and USB sockets. You must go barefoot on board.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance using the contact details provided in your confirmation email.
Dogs are welcome on board upon request.
Paid parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
