Full description
Get ready for an immersion in poetry: we are waiting for you for a sunset gozzo tour in the Golfo dei Poeti.
In the company of a skipper ready to reveal all the curiosities of this area, you will be able to admire from the sea the panoramas of Le Grazie, Fezzano and the famous Byron grotto, named after the famous English poet.
The lights of sunset and the colours of Portovenere will then be the perfect setting for an aperitif on board!
What we will do
We will meet in La Spezia, 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Here we will find the skipper waiting for us and embark on board the Tuscan gozzo Gaia. As a first stop, after about 30 minutes of sailing we will reach the Byron Cave, one of the main attractions of the Porto Venere Natural Park. We will stop to admire this natural cavity, which is said to have inspired the poet Byron's The Corsair, to take some photos of the landscape and listen to the anecdotes told by our skipper.
We will then resume sailing to pass in front of Portovenere: this romantic pearl of the Riviera Ligure di Levante, with its pretty village, will be the perfect setting for a few photographs and to enjoy an aperitif at sunset. Prosecco and white wine (or soft drink on request) will be served on board, accompanied by focaccia or other typical Ligurian snacks.
The navigation will then proceed near the villages of Le Grazie and Fezzano, before returning to La Spezia. The tour will last between 3 and 4 hours, depending on the time of year.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The excursion takes place every day from May to October with a minimum of 5 participants.
The duration of the excursion varies according to the period: 3.5 hours in May, June, July, August, 4 hours in September and 3 hours in October.
You will travel on a typical 6.5 m Tuscan Gaia gozzo , which can accommodate up to 6 passengers, and is equipped with awning, freshwater shower, refrigerator, bunk, sundeck and stereo system. The boat has no toilet facilities.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers after confirmation of your booking.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; a large car park is available on site.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals.
