Full description

In front of certain panoramas we all feel a bit like poets, but here even more so!

Sail through the wonders of the Gulf of Poets, which has inspired so many artists with its beauty. From La Spezia to Portovenere, passing the islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, hidden caves and secret coves await you to dive into.

Aboard a gozzo and in the company of a skipper, it will be 3 hours of pure inspiration!

What we will do

The rendezvous is 5 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in La Spezia. Awaiting us will be the skipper, ready to guide us on this gozzo excursion in the Golfo dei Poeti.

Once on board the boat, we will leave the port of La Spezia and begin to sail along the Gulf. The first wonder we will encounter will be Palmaria, the largest of the islands, with its coves and beaches set amidst the wilderness. Here we will be able to stop for an initial 20-30 minute swim.

We will continue to the island of Tino, where we will admire the lighthouse, the remains of the monastery of San Venerio and the old military posts from the Second World War. Shortly afterwards we will reach the small and uninhabited island of Tinetto, where the remains of an ancient monastery can be seen.

We will then sail past the Stella Maris statue and along some caves, before approaching Portovenere. We will admire from the sea the famous Byron's Grotto, where the English poet used to take refuge to find inspiration, and the church of San Pietro overlooking the promontory.

We will then disembark at Portovenere, where we will have about 45 minutes of free time to visit the village, stroll through its carruggi, and visit the church.

After the visit, we will return to the port of La Spezia. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
