For some it is a dream, for others a special gift. .. but for us it is simply synonymous with adventure!
What are we talking about? But of the group flight in a hot-air balloon in Barolo: a trip to be experienced at least once in a lifetime.
Fly over the 'Langa del Barolo', a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014, famous throughout the world for its beauty. You will be able to admire it from above for about an hour, being guided by the wind and experiencing unique emotions that you will remember forever.
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Barolo (CN), where the activity organisers will be waiting for us.
We will take off amidst the vineyards that have made the fortune of these lands and admire the beauty of their gentle slopes. For about an hour, we will be able to observe from above a dreamlike scenery, made up of vineyards that cover the valleys and chase each other to the horizon. Standing out among them will be the imposing castle of Barolo and other castles (Monforte, Serralunga, Grinzane, Cavour) located close to our take-off point.
After filling our eyes with wonders, at the end of the trip we will toast to the fantastic experience and taste typical local products, famous for their goodness.
The activity will last a total of 4 hours, including about 1 hour of flight time.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone aged 7 years and over and at least 130 cm tall (two children are allowed per adult) . Under 14 years of age, one must be accompanied by an adult, and up to 18 years of age, parental consent is required.
In addition, due to restrictions on balloon lifting capacities, passengers over 100 kg will be subject to a surcharge of €50 per person (payable locally) .
Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that they are fit to fly. It is recommended to consult the doctor in case of surgery or medical treatment in the 2 months preceding the flight.
Other information
Flights take place at sunrise all year round or before sunset from mid-September to mid-May and are confirmed with a minimum of 5 participants.
Theexact flight time and meeting point will be given the day before the flight. You will receive the organisers' contact details when your booking is confirmed. Free parking spaces are available at the meeting point.
For safety reasons, it is not possible to fly if you are pregnant, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or unable to maintain the support position during landing, which consists of bending your knees while holding on to the landing handles. The pilot has the right to decide whether the participant is fit to fly.
The price of the flight includes a toast with typical local products (cold meats, cheeses and local wines, taralli, toasted hazelnuts, dried pears, fruit juices, water and, on request, hazelnut cake). In case of allergies and intolerances, please contact the organisers at the contact details in your booking confirmation e-mail to request an alternative.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
