Group balloon flight in Mondovì

Live a unique, exciting and unforgettable experience: a hot-air balloon flight is an ever-changing and unrepeatable journey to be experienced at least once in a lifetime.

You will catch the nuances of colours, countryside and cities from an unusual and incomparable viewpoint.

This experience can take place every weekend throughout the year, departing either early in the morning or in the afternoon before sunset. The flight will be shared with other people, from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of around 12 (depending on the balloon that will be used among the various available and which will be selected by the staff according to requirements).

What we will do

The meeting place is near Farigliano, a few kilometres from Mondovì, the de facto Italian capital of hot-air ballooning, between the Langhe and the Maritime Alps, famous throughout the world for their beauty and fine products: you will be able to admire the enchantment of the gentle slopes from above. You will enjoy a dreamlike panorama.

We will be guided by the wind, its speed and direction. It is the currents that will determine our route and make the flight unique and unrepeatable. Depending on the conditions of the day, we will be able to admire the Tanaro river and the Alps in all their splendour.

The flight will last about an hour, at the end of which we will look for a suitable place to land, where the ground team will take care of bringing us back to the meeting place. The landing spot is variable according to the winds and the pilot will define it once in the air. At the end of the trip, you will be able to enjoy a light brunch with typical local products.

The duration of the experience, including transport, assembly and disassembly, is approximately 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

Flying in a hot air balloon does not involve any particular risks or contraindications. However, it is essential to be in good health and to be at least 7 years of age (with a height of at least 130 cm); children from 7 to 11 years of age benefit from a discounted rate, please contact us. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult and up to 18s must have parental consent. Please note: the stated age does not apply at the time of purchase but on the day of the flight.

In addition, due to restrictions on balloon lifting capacity, passengers over 100kg will be subject to a 60€ surcharge per person (payable locally).

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that they are fit to fly. It is recommended to consult the doctor in case of surgery or medical treatment in the 2 months preceding the flight.

For safety reasons, it is not possible to fly if you are pregnant, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or unable to maintain the support position during landing, which consists of bending your knees while holding on to the landing handles. The pilot has the right to decide whether the participant is fit to fly.

The activity is confirmed with a minimum number of 5 participants.

The exact flight time and meeting point will be given the day before the flight. You will receive the organisers' contact details when your booking is confirmed (see section - how it works).

The price of the flight includes, in addition to transport on take-off and landing, insurance and a toast with typical local products (cold meats, cheeses and local wines, taralli, toasted hazelnuts, dried pears, fruit juices water and, on request, hazelnut cake).
