Full description
Book a two-and-a-half-hour kayaking lesson on the Sesia River in Piedmont.
You will learn how to paddle correctly and move safely on the water with the assistance of a qualified instructor. You will have fun together with your partner or friends experiencing a new and exciting sport.
The activity is suitable for beginners who want to share this experience with friends or new companions.
What we will do
The meeting is at the Scopa centre , in the province of Vercelli. On arrival we will be welcomed by theinstructor, who will provide us with all thenecessary equipment (included) and accompany us to the chosen river point.
The lesson will include the basic fundamentals in flat water on the Sesia river. If the instructor allows it and the conditions are ideal, it will then be possible to move to rough water for a first approach to the technique to be used in the current.
During the 2½-hour lesson, we will then learn the technique of paddling a single kayak and the correct movements to move on the water. We will be immersed in a natural setting of great beauty, among gorges and lush vegetation.
At the end of the lesson, we will return together to the centre, where we can relax in the green areas or take a hot shower.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone over the age of 13. No previous experience is required to participate in the activity, but knowing how to swim is necessary.

The lesson can be booked from April to September, weather permitting, and is confirmed once 2 participants are reached.

Only single kayaks are available.
The centre has fully equipped toilets, showers and changing rooms . In addition, after your activity, you can stay at the centre and enjoy the green spaces, bar service, barbecue area, volleyball and five-a-side football pitch, foosball table, and relaxation areas for sunbathing.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
