The Wolf Visitor Centre is a place completely dedicated to the care and study of this fascinating predator that lives undisturbed in the woods of the Majella National Park.
Together with experienced and qualified guides, you can get to know and learn many curiosities about the wolf and discover how important this species is for theecosystem.
This guided walk is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with nature, learn more about the environment in which we live and spend a few hours in the open air with the whole family.
What we will do
The appointment is at the Wolf Visitor Centre in Popoli, in the province of Pescara. Here we will meet the guide who will accompany us on our journey through nature and animals.
Our journey into the world of the wolf will then begin. We will first visit the Wolf Visitor Centre Museum, consisting of an interesting educational exhibition on the biology and ethology of the wolf. It will also be possible to enter a room where we can listen to different types of howling.
Then we will take a nature walk on an outdoor dirt track along which it will be possible to observe ungulates (deer, fallow deer, wild boar, mouflon, roe deer...), birds of prey and wolves. The wolf area can be reached via an easy 1 km walk completely immersed in the nature of the Majella National Park.
Guided by experienced staff, we will always be safe and can fully enjoy this fantastic experience, ideal for children but fun and interesting for adults too!
The route is 2. 5 km, and lasts about 2 ½ hours.

The activity takes place throughout the year on the dates indicated in the calendar (up to date) and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Children under the age of 3 participate free of charge.
Apicnic area with a fountain (non-drinking) is available at the Wolf Visitor Centre.
