Full description
Never set foot on a sailing boat? No problem, it always starts somewhere. And this is your perfect opportunity: a half-day to experience the thrill of sailing in Andora!
A3-hour excursion, ideal for those who want to try sailing for the first time or treat themselves to a few hours of unusual manoeuvres and waves.
An experienced skipper will be on board, ready to guide you in your first contact with the sea as a protagonist!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 30 minutes before 11 a.m. at the meeting point in Andora (SV).
The skipper will welcome us with a small initial briefing to explain how the sailing boat works. Afterwards we will set sail to explore the coast between Diano Marina and Alassio from a different perspective, moved only by the force of the wind.
While sailing, we will learn the basics of sailing: tacking, gaits, nomenclature and behaviour on the boat. Those who wish will be able to try to steer the boat safely, always under the supervision of the instructor.
If conditions allow, we can also enjoy a break to relax and dive, before returning to the starting point.
The activity will last about three hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for 12 years and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult or have signed authorisation.
Subject to prior notice, it is also possible to participate in the activity in a wheelchair or with reduced mobility: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to reserve the barrier-free boat.
Other information
The activity is available every weekend of the year and every day from May to October.
Please note! The itinerary and programme for the day may be subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions and at the skipper's discretion.
The boats used for the activity are 7- to 11-metre sailing cabin cruisers, assigned according to the number of participants. One goes on board without shoes or with clean white-soled shoes.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
There are showers and toilets at the meeting point.
Free and paid parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
