You don't have to be Lord Byron to appreciate this gulf, but a glass of prosecco in hand helps to find inspiration!
Get ready to write the most beautiful verses (or at least take the best photos) on this dinghy tour in the Gulf of Poets. Departing from La Spezia, you will experience 4 hours of pure wonder, discovering Portovenere, Lerici and the islands of the archipelago.
Not only sea: you will have the opportunity to go ashore for a walk and toast with a Ligurian aperitif!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in La Spezia (SP) . Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our excursion!
Climbing aboard the dinghy, we will leave our moorings to immerse ourselves in the unique scenery of the Gulf of Poets. We will admire from the sea the colourful houses of San Terenzo and the charm of Tellaro, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
During the tour there will be two shore stops of about 30 minutes each in Lerici and Portovenere. Back on board, we will explore the three islands of the archipelago: Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto. The skipper will also guide us in the exploration of some natural cavities, such as the Grotta Azzurra and a volcanic cave.
There will be no shortage of swimming stops, which can be a maximum of three (at La Caletta, Portovenere or Palmaria Island) depending on our preferences and the weather; we will have about 30 minutes per stop to swim and use the snorkelling masks. Between dives, we will be served an aperitif with Ligurian products such as focaccia, pesto, savoury snacks and vegetable pies, accompanied by prosecco, beer, Spritz or soft drinks.
The activity will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, while those 12 and older may also participate alone, with parental consent.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; staff can support any passengers with mobility difficulties in boarding (to be notified in advance) .

The activity takes place from April to December and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is an 8-metre Ranieri dinghy, equipped with a 200 hp engine, awning, freshwater shower, climbing ladder and cushions. On board you can stay without shoes.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in your confirmation e-mail.
Dogs are welcome on board.
On request, it is also possible to embark in Lerici or Portovenere: contact the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to arrange departure from these embarkation points.
Paying car parks are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
