Discover the natural wonders of the Maiella National Park on a latest-generatione-bike!
Rent your pedal-assisted bike in San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore (PE), choosing from 3 different types: E-MTB Front with front shock absorber, E-MTB Full with double shock absorber and E-TREKKING Front suitable for flatter trails.
The e-bike will be yours for 5 hours and you can use it to reach some of the most fascinating places in the surroundings, such as Valle Giumentina, the Lama Bianca Reserve and Passo San Leonardo.
What we will do
You will be able to pick up your e-bike rental in San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore at the time chosen during the booking process.
After signing the necessary forms, we will give you some information on possible routes in the Maiella National Park. The mountain bike routes in this area are all mapped and, if you are interested in a particular route, we can provide you with the GPS track directly.
We have 3 types of bikes (which you can select when booking): MTB Front with front shock absorber, E-MTB Full with front and rear shock absorber, and E-TREKKING Front with front shock absorber. The latter type is similar to a city bike, suitable for flat trails and less demanding routes. All bikes are equipped with a 500 Wh battery.
Your two-wheeled adventure will take you to discover some of the most fascinating natural gems in the surroundings. Pedal through the Giumentina Valley, immerse yourself in the peace of the Lama Bianca Reserve and challenge yourself on the San Leonardo Pass.
Visit the enchanting village of Roccacaramanico and be captivated by the beauty of the Orta River Valley. Or reach the evocative hermitage of Santo Spirito a Maiella, a silent witness to centuries of history.
You will have to return the e-bike after 5 hours of rental, with a mandatory return before dark.
Who it is aimed at
Rental is available from 14 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Participants must be at least 1.50 m tall and not exceed a maximum weight of 120 kg.
Other information
E-bikes can be booked all year round, weather permitting.
When booking you can choose between:
- 6 E-MTB Front with front shock absorber, 500 Wh battery. Suitable for easy routes with gentle descents and mainly asphalt surfaces
- 4 E-MTB Full with double shock absorber, 500 Wh battery. Also suitable for demanding trails and dirt roads
- 2 E-TREKKING Front with front shock absorber, 500 Wh. Suitable for flat and undemanding trails
E-bikes are available in sizes M and L, from 1.50 m in height. They are not suitable for enduro or downhill riding.
Onrequest, for an extra charge, an inflate-and-repair bottle (for use only - €6) and child seats (€5) can also be provided. Dog carts are not available.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
