We know how stressful it can be to untangle car parks and winding roads. However, there is a perfect way to fully enjoy the Cinque Terre: explore them by sea!
Set sail from Levanto, the key to the Cinque Terre Park, aboard a typical Ligurian gozzo and get ready to admire Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore from a new perspective.
And in between stops for a dip, a hearty aperitif with typical products, accompanied by local wine, prosecco, beer and soft drinks awaits you.

What we will do
Departure is at 10.30 a.m. from the pier in Levanto, in the province of La Spezia. After the crew has welcomed us, we will board a typical Ligurian gozzo, a small motor boat ideal for sailing close to the coast and admiring the enchanting views of the Cinque Terre up close.
The first wonder we will encounter will be Monterosso al Mare, the largest village in the Cinque Terre. We will stop at anchor for about half an hour to take some photos, while the guide accompanying us will tell us anecdotes and curiosities about this place.
We will continue on to Vernazza, where we will stop again for about half an hour. We will admire the colourful houses and the characteristic small port before continuing on to Corniglia, the village perched on a rocky promontory.
Next, we will reach Manarola. This stage will give us another enchanting glimpse of the Cinque Terre, with its terraced vineyards and colourful houses. Finally, we will reach Riomaggiore, our last destination, where we will stop for a refreshing swim.
Between 12 noon and 1 p.m. we will stop along the coast to enjoy an abundant aperitif with typical products (Ligurian focaccia with pesto, savoury pies, vegetable pie...) accompanied by local wine, prosecco, beer and soft drinks.
After the aperitif and a last refreshing dip, we will return to Levanto by 2.30 p.m., after about 4 hours of hiking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 2 years participate free of charge. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible, but is accessible for those with walking difficulties.
Other information
The excursion takes place daily from mid-April to mid-October and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
There are 2 swimming stops at anchor; disembarkation ashore is not foreseen.
The boat is a typical 8.5-metre long Ligurian gozzo, equipped with shower, WC, cabin, sundeck and shaded area at the stern.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport. There is also a car park on site for a fee.
