Did you know that Dante Alighieri, Mary Shelley, Lord Byron and many other artists and men of letters were enraptured by the beauty of the Gulf of Poets? Discover it too with this half-day gozzo tour!
Set off from La Spezia and sail through transparent waters to the magnificent Portovenere, Tellaro, Lerici and San Terenzo: the skipper will tell you some anecdotes about their history.
You can relax on board, enjoy snorkelling, and let yourself be bewitched by the landscape around you!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in La Spezia, where our skipper will be waiting for us. We will board the boat, a 6.80-metre gozzo equipped with every comfort, and set off on our adventure!
We will head towards the Gulf of Poets, which we will reach in about 40 minutes of sailing. Once at our destination, we will stop in Portovenere for about 40 minutes, during which we will listen to a few stories about the town's history and then disembark from the gozzo to visit it on our own. Among the gems we will be able to see is the church of San Pietro, the oldest in the entire gulf.
After resuming navigation, we will reach Tellaro, which we will admire from the boat during a stop of about 15 minutes. Immediately afterwards, we will stop in front of"La Caletta" cove for 30 minutes of snorkelling or relaxation, depending on our preference.
Then we will sail to the magnificent Lerici, where we will go ashore for a visit of about 40 minutes, which we will do on our own. Finally, we will head to San Terenzo and stop for 15 minutes to appreciate it from the sea while the skipper tells us some interesting facts about its history.
We will return to our starting point satisfied and happy!
The experience, including the various stops, will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

The activity is available from April to October and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Theboat on which the experience will take place is a 6.80 m long gozzo, with a maximum capacity of 7 persons (excluding crew) and equipped with cushions, awning, table, freshwater shower, climbing ladder and stereo for music. It is necessary to remain barefoot on board.
Dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and parking spaces are available nearby for a fee.
