Have you ever wondered what it would be like to ride through postcard-perfect scenery in the Val di Sole to reach a lake hidden in the mountains?
Join us for a horseback ride from Peio to the picturesque Lago dei Caprioli. You can enjoy a stop at a chalet and enjoy a small snack while admiring the enchanting landscape of the lake, framed by mountains and forests.
But it doesn't end here: riding your horse you will also have the opportunity to discover Ossana and Fucine, included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet at 8.30 a.m. in Peio (TN), where the equestrian guide and the splendid and tame horses of the riding stables will be waiting for us.
After a short briefing on the route and a review of American (western) riding, it will be time to set off!
We will cross a picturesque basin in the middle of Val di Sole to reach Ossana and Fucine, two villages suspended in time that have earned the title of Italy's most beautiful villages. We will be enchanted by the two villages with their houses, bell towers and even the remains of a medieval castle in Ossana.
Leaving the two villages behind, we will continue along meadows and woods until we reach the suggestive Lago dei Caprioli, at an altitude of 1280 metres. We will thus be reflected in the transparent waters of the lake, which reflect the surrounding forest and the high mountains of Val di Sole.
Once at the lake, after about two hours of riding, we will get off our horses to enjoy a tasteful break at the chalet on the lake. The guide will provide us with a sandwich and drink (of our choice), so we can enjoy the half-hour break without queuing or waiting, just enjoying our snack and admiring theenchanting landscape.
We then climb back into the saddle to return to the riding stables. The return journey of another 2 hours or so will still hold many beautiful surprises in store for us, including the village of Pellizzano.
Between briefing, stop and ride, the activity lasts a total of 4½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is intended for riders with a minimum of familiarity with horses, who can handle the various gaits independently.

The activity takes place from May to October.
A snack in the chalet (sandwich and drink) is included in the fee. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.
The riding stables can only be reached by car.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
