Hang-gliding in the Canavese area

You love the idea of flying and in your last life you were definitely the coolest of petaurs. With thishang-gliding experience you can reconnect with your past identity!

Fly for 10 minutes over the Canavese region, home to lakes, rivers and ancient villages. Admire the snow-capped peaks of the Alps from a new perspective and enjoy theadrenaline rush of taking flight with an experienced pilot.

If you wish, you can even pilot the hang glider for a few moments and learn some manoeuvres. It will be an unforgettable experience!

What we will do

We will meet at the meeting point in Cuorgnè (TO), where our pilot will be waiting for us. Together we will board the car that will take us to the take-off point at an altitude of 1,200 m, a journey of about 20 minutes (service not included). There we will have a short introductory briefing during which the pilot will give us all the information we need for the flight and hand over the necessary equipment.

We will then beenergized and ready to set off on our adventure! Firmly attached to the pilot, we will make a short run to take flight. We will fly for 10 minutes over Canavese, a vast territory that stretches north of the province of Turin and is home to enchanting ancient villages, castles, lakes and green areas.

From above, we will also be able to admire the sinuous line of the Orco river and the profile of the Alps, which will soar on the horizon with snow-capped peaks even in summer! It will be an experience that will mix theadrenaline of flying with thethrill of looking at the surrounding landscape from a unique perspective.

If it is safe to do so, the pilot will even let us try to fly the hang glider for a few moments, teaching us the simplest manoeuvres. Finally, we will land at the meeting point thrilled with the experience!

The activity, including transfer to the take-off point, briefing and 10-minute flight, will last anhour and a half in total.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 may participate if a release form is signed by a responsible adult.

A maximum weight of 100 kg and aminimum height of 1.40 m are required to participate.

Other information

The activity is available every day of the year.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking is available nearby.

Please note! Hang-gliding is an activity that is entirely dependent on weather conditions. The pilot will confirm whether the experience can go ahead and the exact time the evening before your booked date, no earlier than 6. 00 pm.

The price does not include transport to the take-off point (not included and not optional) , which will be reached together with the pilot using the organisation’s vehicles. This service is at the participants’ expense and must be paid for on site, either in cash or by electronic payment.

Any accompanying persons may wait at the meeting point (which is the same as the landing point) . Only one accompanying person may accompany the participant, paying the cost of transport to the take-off point on site.
