Full description
The power of the engine, the sound of the propeller, the lightness of take-off, the adrenaline in holding the stick in your hands. Experience these and many other emotions and become a helicopter pilot for a day, leaving from Foggia and flying in the Apulian skies under the supervision of an expert pilot.
Flanked by the instructor, you will take control of the aircraft and try out the basic manoeuvres, take off, turn, and land, and, while in the air, admire the spectacle of the world seen from above.
It will be a unique moment, to be given as a gift for aspecial occasion or simply to enjoy anunforgettable experience.
What we will do
We will meet at theFoggia airport. Upon arrival we will be welcomed by theflight instructor, our 'official guide' in the world of aviation. Before boarding, we will have a theoretical briefing during which we will be explained the basic principles of flying, the techniques of piloting the aircraft, and all the safety measures to be observed during the activity.
Once the lesson is over, it will be time to get acquainted with our "travelling companion", the Robinson R22 with dual controls. We will climb aboard, put on our headsets and prepare to take control. Together with the instructor, we will learn how to take off and gain altitude. Once in the air, we will make a few turns and then the adrenaline will be at its highest!
We will enjoy the scenery and the excitement of the flight until, after about 30 minutes, it is time to refresh our concentration in preparation forlanding. In order to ensure maximum safety, the flight will take place within the confines of the airport area. The activity will last approximately 1 hour in total, including the pre-flight theory lesson.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is open to everyone from the age of 16, provided you are in good physical condition and do not suffer from proven heart and/or circulatory problems. Until the age of majority, parental consent is required.
The maximum weight for participation is 109 kg.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance.
This activity can be carried out all year round at weekends, subject to the availability of the airport circuit and only under favourable weather conditions.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
