Helicopter flight over Formigine castle and Maranello race track

Enjoy a 20-minute flight in the skies over Modena and fly over two excellences of the area: the medieval castle of Formigine and the historic Maranello circuit, home of Ferrari.

And if you are looking for an even greater thrill, ask the pilot to let you take the controls of the helicopter!

What we will do

The meeting point for the activity is at the Cà del Rio resort in Formigine (MO). You will be welcomed and accompanied to thehelipad, where you will get to know the pilot who will accompany you in the flight.

After a briefing on rules of behaviour and safety, you will climb aboard and prepare for take-off. First stop will be the castle of Formigine, a magnificent example of 13th-century medieval architecture . Then you will continue on to Maranello to fly over the historic Ferrari circuit and get your fill of excitement!

During the 20-minute flight, you will be in constant communication with the pilot via headset , and you will be able to take away all curiosities about this fascinating world. To make your experience even more unforgettable, you will be able to try out piloting the helicopter thanks to the dual controls with which it is equipped.

Including briefing and preparation, the activity will last approximately 30 minutes in total, of which 20 minutes will be spent in actual flight.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is open to everyone, aged 14 and over.

The maximum weight for participants is 90 kg.

Other information

This activity can be booked throughout the year on the dates indicated in the calendar (continuously updated).

The helicopter that will be used for this tour is an ultralight Beta22.

When purchasing, you can choose between theoption without lunch and with lunch. Lunch has an additional cost of 40€ and takes place at the beautiful Ca' del Rio estate in Formigine (MO). The typical Modenese menu is based on local products, such as tortellini, gnocchi and tigelle, with water and wine included.

At the end of the experience it is possible to ask the driver for a golf car (caddy) ride around the beautiful Rio Cerca estate. During the 30 minutes in the golf car, you will be able to visit the estate, passing through the vineyards, the ranch and the beautiful black cherry trees. The experience is optional and the price is €30 to be paid on site.

The helicopter flight is an activity strictly dependent on weather conditions. In the event of an adverse forecast, the pilot will notify you a day or two in advance.

Up to 10 participants can fly, one at a time. Only one person plus the pilot may board the helicopter.
