Experience the thrill of a helicopter flight, sit next to the pilot and enjoy the magnificent view over the medieval castle of Formigine, in the province of Modena.
Fly for 10 minutes, admire the panoramic spectacle and make your experience even more special by taking the controls of the helicopter and trying to fly. It will be unforgettable!
What we will do
The meeting point is at the Cà del Rio resort in Formigine (MO). On the helipad you will meet the pilot who will accompany you in the flight and you will have a briefing with him on behaviour and safety rules.
Once on board, the pilot will activate the propellers and you will prepare for take-off. You will fly for 10 minutes around the town centre, approaching Formigine Castle to admire it from above in all its majesty.
You will be constantly connected by headphones to the pilot who will answer all your questions and, if you wish, will allow you to take the controls of the aircraft to experience even more adrenalin-pumping sensations.
Taking into account briefing and preparation, the activity will last approximately 20 minutes in total, of which 10 minutes of actual flight time.

This activity is open to everyone, aged 14 and over.
The maximum weight for participants is 90 kg.
Other information
Helicopter flying is possible all year round at weekends and is an activity closely linked to weather conditions. In the event of an adverse forecast, the pilot will notify you a day or two in advance.
When purchasing, you can choose between theoption without lunch and with lunch. Lunch has an additional cost of 40€ and takes place at the beautiful Ca' del Rio estate in Formigine (MO). The typical Modenese menu is based on local products, such as tortellini, gnocchi and tigelle, with water and wine included.
At the end of the experience, it is possible to ask the driver for a ride in a golf car (caddy) around the estate. During the 30-minute golf car ride, you will be able to visit the estate, passing through the vineyards, the ranch and the beautiful black cherry trees. The experience is optional and the price is €30 to be paid on site.
Up to 10 participants can fly, one at a time. Only one person plus the pilot can board the helicopter.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
