Enjoy a panoramic helicopter flight over the Pietra di Bismantova and admire from above the imposing rocky massif that characterises the landscape of theReggio Emilia Apennines.
You will sit next to an experienced pilot and get into the swing of things, with the possibility of taking over the controls if you wish.
From Formigine (MO ) to Castelnovo ne' Monti (RE) and back, for a flight of more than 1 hour in which your gaze will be enraptured by the beauty and greenery of the Apennine territory.
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is at the Cà del Rio resort in Formigine (MO). You will be welcomed and taken to the helipad, where you will get to know the pilot who will accompany you in the flight.
After an introductory briefing, you will board thetwo-seater helicopter and prepare for take-off. From Formigine you will fly south-west, almost as far as the border with Tuscany, in a mountainous area dominated by green nature.
Here, isolated in the middle of theReggio Emilia Apennines, stands the Pietra di Bismantova, a rocky massif with steep walls, a must-see for climbers and hikers. You will fly over it in a helicopter, admiring it from all angles and enjoying atruly suggestive experience.
In total, the activity will last about 1.5 hours, including a good 1 hour of actual flying, with a return flight to the starting point.

This activity is open to everyone, aged 14 and over.
The maximum weight for participants is 90 kg.
Other information
This activity can be booked on weekends throughout the year.
At the end of the experience, you can ask the driver for a golf car (caddy) ride around the beautiful Rio Cerca estate. During the 30-minute golf car ride, you will be able to visit the estate, passing through the vineyards, ranch and beautiful black cherry trees. The experience is optional and the price is €30 to be paid on site.
The helicopter flight is an activity strictly dependent on weather conditions. In the event of an adverse forecast, the pilot will warn you a day or two in advance.
You can fly up to 5 participants, one at a time. Only one person plus the pilot may board the helicopter.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
