Experience the thrill of a helicopter flight and fly over Fiorano Modenese to discover the treasures of the Emilian territory.
You will be able to admire from above the Spezzano castle and the Salse di Nirano nature reserve, with its characteristic clay volcanoes that stand out among the vegetation.

What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is at the Cà del Rio resort in Formigine (MO). You will be welcomed and taken to the helipad, where you will get to know the pilot who will accompany you in the flight.
After an introductory briefing, it will be time to board thetwo-seater helicopter for take-off. From Formigine , you will head towards the nearby town of Fiorano Modenese to fly over the Spezzano castle, which stands outside the town centre, amidst the greenery.
Then you will reach the Salse di Nirano nature reserve, a place characterised by the unusual geological phenomenon of eruptive salse. These are muds mixed with hydrocarbons that rise from underground and 'erupt' to the surface, creating small clay volcanoes. These conical formations, similar to gullies, make the landscape very special - a real eye-catcher from the top of the helicopter!
The experience will last a total of about 35 minutes, of which 25 minutes of actual flight time, with return to Formigine.

This activity is open to everyone, aged 14 and over.
The maximum weight for participants is 90 kg.
Other information
This activity can be booked on weekends throughout the year.
At the end of the experience, you can ask the driver for a golf car (caddy) ride around the beautiful Rio Cerca estate. During the 30-minute golf car ride, you will be able to visit the estate, passing through the vineyards, ranch and beautiful black cherry trees. The experience is optional and the price is €30 to be paid on site.
The helicopter flight is an activity strictly dependent on weather conditions. In the event of an adverse forecast, the pilot will warn you a day or two in advance.
You can fly up to 5 participants, one at a time. Only one person besides the pilot may board the helicopter.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
