This isn’t magic, it’s nature!
Join us on a tour of our distillery and natural remedies workshop in Massarosa: you’ll stroll through the botanical garden, learn about medicinal plants and try your hand at creating remedies with beneficial properties.
And finally, you’ll return home with a natural treasure made with your own hands!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before 10. 00 am at the meeting point in Massarosa (LU). Once there, you’ll meet the guide who’ll be taking you on this adventure!
The experience will begin with a walk through the farm’s botanical garden: along the way , you’ll see numerous varieties of plants, including medicinal, aromatic and tropical plants, as well as trees and citrus fruits; the guide will describe their characteristics, cultivation and processing. The farm specialises in growing medicinal plants, particularly organic eucalyptus, of which they boast the first and largest cultivation in Italy!
You will then visit the distillery, where you’ll learn in detail about the process of transforming the plants into essential oils, essences, extracts and natural preparations. And in the Bio Bottega, you’ll discover natural remedies made using produce from our land. The tour will continue at the Nonno Amedeo Agricultural Museum: an immersion in the memories of the owning family’s life and the farming traditions of days gone by.
And now it’s time to put what you’ve learnt into practice during the workshop on creating natural remedies using medicinal plants: you’ll prepare natural treasures with beneficial properties, using plant-based ingredients and carefully selected raw materials. A moment of connection with nature, of sensory discovery and of the pleasure of creating something with your own hands, in harmony with the environment around us. Finally, you’ll take home the natural preparations you’ve made, as a memento of this experience!
The experience lasts approximately 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to the meeting point.
The experience is accessible to wheelchair users and pushchairs.

The experience runs all year round and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
Dogs on a lead are permitted: please contact the guide using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know your four-legged friend will be joining you.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
