Full description
Enjoy the spectacle of the Gulf of Salerno from a marine perspective. Standing on a SUP you will paddle for about 2 hours following the city's eastern waterfront.
You will then see the outline of Salerno and the imposing Castle of Arechi, dominating the panorama with its crenellated walls. In the company of experienced instructors, you will learn the secrets of stand-up paddleboarding as you explore the beaches and coves along the coast.
The excursion also includes a stop at the Santa Teresa Beach to enjoy a small merenda with snacks and a drink. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet near the Salerno seafront, where the instructors will be waiting for us. After introductions, we will conduct a 15-minute briefing together on how to use the SUP, which will be useful for those who are new to the sport.
After the short lesson, we will be ready to start paddling in the waters of the Gulf of Salerno. Along the way we will admire the outline of the Arechi Castle, which stands on a hill 300 metres above sea level.
We will thus see the crenellated walls of the medieval castle and the great tower, known as 'The Bastille', around which the entire imposing complex is built. We will ride the SUP along the city promenade in the eastern area and admire the panorama of the city.
We will also stop at the Santa Teresa Beach with its palm trees, sandy shore and small amphitheatre facing the marina. Here we will take a short refreshment break with snacks and a drink and then continue on to the return point.
The excursion lasts a total of two hours.

Other information
The tour runs from October to May, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The centre provides free waterproof bags.
It is also possible to rent a wetsuit in the colder months at an additional cost of 10€ (payable locally).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
