Hire a dinghy in Porto San Paolo, in the heart of the protected marine area: together with your 'crew' of up to 6 people, you will venture without a licence to natural attractions such as theIsola dei Cavalli, theIsola Piana and the Piscine di Molara.
Spend half or a whole day in the irresistible Sardinian sea!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Porto San Paolo (SS). You will be welcomed by the charterer, ready to hand over the boat reserved for you and your group.
It is a 5.50-metre-long dinghy with a 40-horsepower engine, equipped with a sundeck, awning, and climbing ladder. The boat is equipped with a GPS connected to the rental centre for safe navigation.
After completing the rental contract, you will reach the jetty where you will meet the mooring masters. They will explain the operation of the boat and the rules of navigation to you, followed by a 10-minute test ride to familiarise you with the boat.
Once you have finished boarding your 'crew' of up to 6 people, you will be ready to venture without a licence into theTavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area. Thanks to the map provided, you will know where to go to reachIsola dei Cavalli,Isola Piana, Piscine di Molara and other natural wonders nearby. Don't forget to bring your own food and drinks to toast on board with your company!
You will then return to the meeting point. The hire will last 4 hours (half-day) or 8½ hours (full-day) depending on the option selected at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The charterer and driver must be at least 18 years old. This boat may be driven without a licence.
There are no age limits for passengers.
The jetty is difficult to access but people with mobility problems are welcome on board: please contact the charterer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request boarding support.
Other information
Rental is available from April to October.
There is paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Fuel is not included and will be paid on site upon return to the port according to consumption.
You remain barefoot on board the boat.
Dogs are allowed on board the boat; owners are asked to bring a towel to lay on the dinghy.
