In Sestri Levante you can do it your way: climb aboard the Red Thunder, a 6-metre dinghy that can be driven even without a licence, and set sail to discover the Ligurian coast with your group of friends or family.
Just you, your crew and all the freedom to decide the route!
What we will do
The appointment is at the Sestri Levante pier, 15 minutes before the time selected during the booking process. The staff will be waiting for you there and will accompany you to the boat.
The Red Thunder is a 6-metre long, 40 hp motorised dinghy. It does not require a licence and can accommodate up to 6 people. On board you will find everything you need to stay comfortable and relax: awning, shower, Bluetooth stereo and GPS with depth sounder for easy orientation. On request, an icebox is also available to keep your drinks cool.
After the necessary paperwork, the operation of the boat and navigation rules will be explained to you. The staff will also provide you with a map of the coast, with the points of interest that you can visit on your own: quiet coves and suggestive views between the villages of Moneglia, Portofino and San Fruttuoso.
Finally, you will return the dinghy to the departure pier after 4 hours or 8 hours of rental (depending on the option chosen).
Who it is aimed at
The minimum age required for chartering is 20, while there are no age limits for passengers. A licence is not required to drive this boat.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity is available from May to October. When booking, you can choose whether to hire the boat for "half a day (4 hours)" or "full day (8 hours)".
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there are paid parking spaces on site.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
Please note! Fuel is not included in the rental price and will be paid on return, according to consumption.

The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
