Let us guess: you too cried while watching Spirit - Wild Horse.
So get your handkerchiefs ready for our horse-riding experience in the province of Ferrara: the package includes knowledge and preparation of the animal, a riding lesson and a horseback ride. All in the company of an Italian Equestrian Sports Federation instructor.
A 1-hour experience to get passionate about horse riding and these wonderful animals!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in San Carlo, a hamlet in the municipality of Terre del Reno (FE). Awaiting us will be theFISE instructor who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will get to know the horses. We will learn how to interact with them by cleaning, brushing and saddling them, while the instructor will present and explain how to communicate with the animal. This moment will last about 10 minutes and will allow us to become familiar with our companion.
We will then move to the field where, once we have donned our equipment, we will mount the saddle for a riding lesson: we will learn the basics of the discipline, practise exercises and get used to being in the saddle; the instructor will impart all the necessary teachings for a carefree experience. This moment will last approximately 30 minutes.
And then we will be ready for our horseback ride: we will experience the unique thrill of riding through the countryside surrounding the riding school, while the guide will lead us on foot, guaranteeing maximum safety. A great achievement for a first time on horseback! This moment will last about 30 minutes and can be replaced with a more in-depth riding lesson depending on the preference of the participants.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last approximately 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at the meeting point.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.
Other information
The experience runs from May to June and from September to October.
Bags and backpacks are not allowed. We recommend wearing a baby carrier.
Participants' dogs may remain at the riding stables. Any accompanying persons with leashed dogs can wait in the riding hall where there is a refreshment area.
Free parking is available on site. The riding school cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
