Never been in the saddle? That's what we're here for!
We are waiting for you for a lesson and horseback ride in the heart of the Ferrara countryside. Thanks to an equestrian guide you will learn all the techniques for holding the reins, staying in the saddle and giving commands to your horse, and then put what you have learnt into practice with a 1-hour ride .
You will ride at pace through rural landscapes and flat paths in the scattered municipality of Terre del Reno. Hiiiiii!
What we will do
We will meet at the riding stables in San Carlo (FE), at the time chosen when booking.
After getting to know our riding guide and horses, we will be ready to start. During the 1-hour lesson we will combine theory and practice to learn how to hold the reins, the correct position in the saddle and the commands to give the horse to start, stop and turn. This part of the activity will be carried out in the field.
This will be followed by the walk, which can be done on the same day or on subsequent days (in agreement with the guide). Mounting in the saddle and proceeding at a leisurely pace, we will ride through nature along flat country roads, framed by the rural landscape and the embankment of the Cavo Napoleonico canal .
We will ride between 3 and 5 km, accompanied by the guide on foot for even greater safety.
The total duration of the activity will be 2 hours, including 1 hour of lessons and 1 hour of walking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is ideal for beginners from the age of 14 and a maximum weight of 90 kg.
Minors do not need to be accompanied during the walk, but must come to the riding stables with an adult.
Other information
The activity is available from April to September, Tuesday to Sunday.
Lessonand ride take place at different times, which can be agreed with the guide (e.g. lesson in the morning and ride in the afternoon or on different days, consecutive or not).
The riding school also has an indoor field for riding lessons.
During the walk, riding is always done at walking pace, using the English riding technique. It is not permitted to carry rucksacks or bags (maximum one fanny pack).
Any accompanying persons may remain on the riding school grounds, where a refreshment point with drinks and snacks is available. Leashed dogs are also permitted.
The riding stables cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
