At the end of this experience, the horse will be your best companion!
You will get to know it during a lesson, during which you will learn the basics of horse riding. In the company of a riding guide, you will then ride to discover the natural setting of the Stirone Park, near Salsomaggiore Terme.
And on your return to the riding school, you will toast to this more than two and a half hour experience with an aperitif!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Case La Bocca, near Salsomaggiore Terme (PR). Welcoming you to the riding school will be me, your equestrian guide on this adventure in the saddle!
After an initial welcome, once all participants have gathered, we will join the horses to get to know them. We'll enter the camp, proceed with the saddle fitting with English or American saddle and begin the riding lesson: in about 30 minutes I'll teach you the basics of riding, so that you can enjoy the subsequent experience to the fullest.
Once you have gained confidence in the saddle, we will leave the camp to venture out for a ride: we will ride in the Stirone Park, a nature reserve established following the discovery of fossils of minke whales that once inhabited the 'ancient sea' that covered the area. Along the route, mainly on a path, we will also spot the Castles of Salt: we will pass under Scipione Castle and admire Vigoleno Castle, elected one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, in the distance.
The horseback ride will last 1 hour and 15 minutes, during which we will cover approximately 10 to 15 km. We will then return to the stables for an aperitif (included) based on local cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. The experience will last a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in this activity.
The excursion is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.

The experience takes place from January to December and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request a shuttle service from Salsomaggiore Terme station at a cost of €10.00 per group.
The duration of the experience may vary depending on the number and experience level of participants.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding school and participate only in the aperitif by selecting the appropriate option when booking. If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to inform them.
Dogs are not allowed at the riding school.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
