Full description
All the best of Lake Viverone, the third largest in Piedmont, in this 2-hour horse ride.
Guiding us along the route will be not only our equestrian guide but also the sound of the bells of San Martino Campanaro. And the pair of Loving Trees, showing us the way through the forest. And the Azeglio Piles, marking our finish line.

What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Azeglio (TO). You will recognise me, I will be in the company of my beloved horses!
The experience will begin with a short briefing during which, as an equestrian guide, I will explain the basics of horse riding. We will then be ready to saddle up and set off along the tarmac road out of the riding stables. After a while, we will venture onto a dirt track and then into the forest.
The first attraction we will encounter along the way is the pair of Loving Trees: two shrubs that join together, rising to the sky in an embrace; because even the forest holds surprises!
We will continue chasing the horizon of the hills of Viverone, Alice Castello and Anzasco until we reach Lake Viverone. Legend has it that its waters guard a sunken village, whose bells can be heard when the wind blows from the Valle d'Aosta. It is said that San Martino Campanaro, the protagonist of the traditional nursery rhyme, rings them.
But this is not the only treasure that the waters of the lake conceal: the Palafitte di Azeglio, an ancient pile-dwelling village dating back to the Bronze Age consisting of no less than 5,000 piles driven into the ground that have come down to us.
We will then return to the meeting point, for a total experience of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 16.
The weight limit for participation is a maximum of 90 kg.
A level of experience gained from riding lessons (at least 2 lessons) and having a good command of the horse is required. Please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your level of experience.

The experience is available from January to December, weather permitting.
Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time.
Before the start of the activity, participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
