We are waiting for you for a one-and-a-half-hour ride to discover the Alta Murgia National Park and the Mercadante Forest, with their unique landscapes and ecosystems.
Saddle up and get ready to follow your guide on this exciting adventure!
What we will do
The appointment is in Cassano delle Murge (BA), 20 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
We will be welcomed by our guide, who will take us to meet the horses. In order to see the horses being prepared, we may arrive at the facility a little early, otherwise we will find our mounts ready and saddled.
Before starting the ride, we will follow a short 10-15 minute lesson to learn the main commands. Once we are securely in the saddle, the guide will precede us out of the riding stables and we can immerse ourselves in the views of the Alta Murgia National Park.
We will proceed on beaten paths and dirt roads at a steady pace. The backdrop to our ride will be the typical Murgia landscape, with its dry stone walls, limestone rocks and unique flora, depending on the season.
After the first stretch in the Murgia, we will enter the Foresta Mercadante, an artificial forest of Aleppo pines, downy oaks and holm oaks, created as a hydraulic reclamation of the Murge. Inside the forest, we will make a circular walk of about 20-30 minutes, while the total length of the itinerary will be between 10 and 12 km.
During the walk, the guide will take photos with his mobile phone, which he will send us via WhatsApp at the end of the tour.
The activity will last a total of 1.5 hours, including the initial briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, even without experience, from the age of 14.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum permitted weight is 90 kg.

The activity takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
Saddles for English or American riding are available.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the facility during the activity; dogs on a leash are permitted.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. There is free parking on site.
