Don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of aperitifs.
Join us on our horse ride in Castelnuovo di Farfa: you’ll ride through lush green countryside in the heart of the Sabina region and finish up at a farmhouse to raise a glass with local specialities.
A lovely, enjoyable experience lasting 1 or 2 hours!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Castelnuovo di Farfa (RI). Once there, we’ll meet the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll be given our equipment and assigned our horses. We’ll then mount up and learn the basics of horse riding; the guide will provide all the information we need to ensure a worry-free experience.
And here we are, ready for our horse ride: we’ll venture into lush countryside in the heart of Sabina, making our way through woods and riding amongst the olive groves. Along the way, we might even spot some local wildlife, such as hawks and young wild boars!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point and then make our own way to a nearby agriturismo, where we’ll be treated to an aperitif featuring local produce. The horse ride lasts 1 hour or 2 hours depending on the option selected; the total experience lasts 1½ hours or 2½ hours depending on the option selected.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participating in the horseback ride.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. The guide leads the horseback ride, with or without a lunge at his or her discretion. The horse ride takes place exclusively at the pace.
Other information
Please note! You must wear long trousers and closed-toe shoes without heels. If the dress code is not adhered to, the activity may be cancelled and no refund will be given, at the guide’s discretion.
The experience runs all year round and is confirmed once a minimum of 2 participants has been reached.
Dogs are not permitted.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
