Join our horse ride in Noveglia: accompanied by an equestrian guide, you’ll ride through the natural scenery of the Val Noveglia. The adventure will continue with a visit to a cheese dairy and a tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano, and will conclude with free entry to Bardi Castle.

What we will do
We’ll meet at the time indicated at the meeting point in Noveglia, a village in the municipality of Bardi (PR) . Once there, we’ll meet the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll be given our equipment and assigned our horses. We’ll then mount up, learn the basics of horse riding and receive all the information we need to ensure a worry-free experience. This part takes about 10 minutes.
And now we’re ready for our horse ride: we’ll venture into the wooded landscape of the Val Noveglia, riding through the countryside in search of some scenic views. The horse ride lasts about 1½ hours and ends at the meeting point.
Once we’ve dismounted, we’ll each return to our own transport to head to the F. lli Brugnoli organic farm. On arrival, we’ll take part in a guided tour of the dairy, followed by a tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. The visit to the dairy lasts approximately 40 minutes.
And finally, with our admission ticket to Bardi Castle, we’ll be able to explore this medieval gem in the Parma Apennines at our own pace.
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for those aged 14 and over. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to the meeting point.
To take part, you must weigh no more than 100 kg.
The experience is easy and ideal as a first horse ride. The riding guide leads the group on horseback or on foot, as they see fit. The ride takes place exclusively at a walking pace.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
The order of the scheduled activities may vary.
The riding centre is about a 15-minute drive from the dairy; the dairy is about an 8-minute drive from the castle; the castle is about an 8-minute drive from the riding centre.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
