Two simple words, yes, but they perfectly summarise theessence of this experience in Bormio: in the saddle of your steed, you will ride surrounded by the Alps and along the banks of the Adda, and on your return you will taste some delicious typical Valtellina products.
At your side will be our guide who will take care of everything (yes, even taking souvenir photos)!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Bormio (SO). We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this relaxing horseback ride!
Once all the participants have gathered, we will attend a brief explanation to learn the basics of horse riding and enjoy the experience without any worries, after which we will mount the horse assigned to each of us.
We will ride along Bormio's cycle path beside the banks of theAdda, accompanied by the sound of the flowing river and surrounded by the magnificent landscape of the Alps. During the walk , the guide will follow us on foot so that we can take some souvenir photos and assist us as best we can.
Finally, we will return to the meeting point, where we will be offered a typical Valtellina snack of cold cuts and local cheeses accompanied by a glass of wine or apple juice.
The walk will last about 1 hour in total; the experience will last about 1.5 hours but may vary depending on how long we stay on site to have a snack.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 3 and up; unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 may participate with a signed authorisation from a parent.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in the activity.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.
Other information
The activity is available from April until October.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons can wait in the riding hall or follow the participants on foot free of charge. Dogs are allowed both in the riding hall and during the experience kept on a leash by an accompanying person or guide.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
