What if Spirit Cavallo Selvaggio were set in Abruzzo?
It would resemble our horseback ride in the province of Teramo: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will learn how to approach horses consciously and experience the unique thrill of riding through the Abruzzo countryside.
A 2-hour experience, to remind you that fantasy can become reality!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Castelnuovo Vomano, a hamlet of Castellalto (TE) . We will find the riding instructor waiting for us, who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will proceed with the assignment of the steed. We will begin by approaching the horse on the ground, brushing it and preparing it for the field experience. We will then mount the horse and learn the basics of riding. In this first part, the instructor will not fail to provide all the information needed for a carefree experience.
We will then be ready for our horseback ride: we will ride through the surrounding countryside, following a stretch of the Vomano river; along the way we will be able to admire Guardia Vomano on the horizon and, on a clear day, even the Gran Sasso mountain range! The guide leads the group on horseback or on foot and the walk takes place at the pace. The horseback ride will last about one and a half hours.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. Experienced riders may request to practice other gaits in addition to pacing at the guide's discretion.

The experience takes place all year round.
Dogs are not allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
